Chlorhexidine when in low concentration (0,12%) is a bacteriostatic agent and in high concentration (2%) become in a fast bactericide agent.Chlorhexidine act through an electrostatic interaction of its positives and negatives charges in the bacteria???s cellular wall, and braking it, precipitating the cytoplasm and causing the bacteria???s death.
