Germicidal lamp PROLUX G ® 30WA is used to disinfect air in the presence of people. Ultraviolet radiation of wavelength 253.7 nm spectrum UVC is used in the disinfection process. Disinfection occurs when the radiation is applied to microorganisms, which instantly die due to disruption of their DNA cell structures.
